Nipagin, Mould Inhibitor

Nipagin, mould inhibitor.

Used in preparing Drosophila culture medium (note: this is not required if you are using our culture medium CM4 or CM4L as it already contains a mould inhibitor)

Also known as: Methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate or methylparaben

Dissolve 0.25g per 5mL alcohol

Use 5mL of this solution per 250mL of medium, mixing thoroughly to ensure even distribution
