Notes:
- FlyNap is designed to be used on a culture once a day. Each time FlyNap is used, the inside of culture vial should be wiped free of FlyNap residue and the plug inverted.
- Exposing a culture to FlyNap repeatedly in a single day can be harmful to the developing stages. If anaesthetised flies are needed for successive laboratory periods, the flies should be anaesthetised in a clean, empty culture vial. The vial should be charged with 0.1mL of FlyNap.
- Two minutes are required to anaesthetise flies in an empty vial.
