Albumin powder (50g) is spray dried pasteurised egg white. It is manufactured as a food additive, but is supplied by Southern Biological as a source of protein for school science experiments. For example, it can be used in osmosis and enzyme digestion experiments.
Store in dry conditions at 15 - 20° C and keep the container tightly sealed when not in use.
This product is regarded as non-hazardous but is not to be consumed when supplied as a reagent for science experiments. In particular, individuals affected by egg allergies should avoid contact.
We suggest mixing 15g per 100mL of water for school experiments, but this may be varied to suit your particular requirements if necessary
