Description: S10 is a pack of 200 Wheat Seeds. Cultivated from wheat grass, wheat seeds (cereal grain) are a staple food worldwide due to their high carbohydrate content. Cultivated since 9600 BCE, wheat cultivation represents more land area than any other food crop (220.4 million hectares, 2014).
This product is suitable for germination practicals, whereby students study the growth of wheat. Wheat seeds may also be used to observe cellular respiration and fermentation.

- To grow wheat from seeds, place filter paper or paper towel (cut to fit) in a petri dish container and place a few seeds on top.
- Using a pipette, wet the seeds with water until the paper is wet.
- Water seeds every 3 days to maintain damp paper.
- Seeds should germinate within 2-3 days. After 6-8 days seedling should emerge.
