MKO104-30  Carborundum (silicon carbide)

Like diamond, silicon carbide has a crystalline structure involving millions of atoms.  This model represents a small corner of a perfect crystal but shows the pattern of a giant molecular structure.  The kit contains a total of 30 atoms (10 x 4-hole Carbon and 20 x 4-hole Silicon) plus links.  It is supplied in a two compartment box with illustrated instructions.
