Breath Volume Set

Students measure tidal volume (the amount of air a person at rest normally breathes in a single breath) and respiratory minute volume (the amount of air a person breathes in one minute).  A one-way valve enables the subject to inhale room air and exhale directly into the lung volume bag.  This kit will also aid in demonstrating the effects of conditioning.  Kit includes:

• Lung volume bag - 6L scaled in 100mL increments
• Rubber band
• 2 x one-way valves
• Tee-piece and coupler
• Reusable mouthpiece (after disinfecting)
• 30 x disposable mouthpieces
