Quick Soiltest (HI3895)

In agricultural applications, monitoring the quality of the soil is very important for the healthy growth of crops.

The Quick Soiltest kit contains all the reagents and components required to perform 10 tests of each of pH, Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K).  The procedure involves taking a sample of soil and mixing it with water to dissolve the nutrients.  After adding a sachet of specific reagents, the solution becomes coloured and can be compared to a standard colour card to estimate the concentration of the element being tested.
