Seed Germination Kit, complete

All students enjoy watching seeds grow and this kit is designed and tested to give reliable results that will reveal new insights about the mysterious process of germination.

The seed germination kit contains everything you need for ten student groups to carry out simple observations as well as  several experiments involving an example of a monocot (corn) and a dicot (bean).  Experiments cover:

  • Sprouting mechanisms

  • Geotropism

  • Phototropism

  • Measuring growth

Illustrated instructions are included.  Once the seeds have germinated, you can plant out the seedlings in a garden bed at school or your students can take them home.  The durable parts of the kit can be re-used, and the consumable items can be economically replaced.
