BEDBUGS (Cimex lectularius) are blood-sucking and pesticide-resistant insects whose bites cause intense itching and welting capable of triggering allergic reactions. Nesting in mattresses and bedding, bedbugs enjoy being close to humans and seem to prefer nice hotels.
