Rhinovirus (Common Cold) is one of over 100 distinct RNA viruses that most often cause the common cold.  Infection is transmitted by direct contact, aerosol inhalation, or indirectly by contaminated objects (fomites).  Symptoms include dry scratchy throat, headache, nasal congestion, sneezing, and malaise...but then, you knew that!
